Ekaterina Petri is a judoka representing the United States. She balances a demanding career as a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit registered nurse with high-level training and competition in judo. Her athletic journey is driven by a passion for continuous improvement, discipline, and resilience.
A lifelong competitor, Ekaterina combines strength training, technical judo, and sports science to maximize her performance on the tatami. She is committed to representing Team USA at national and international events while continuing to grow as an athlete.
Outside of competition, Ekaterina is pursuing her long-term goal of becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. She believes the focus, composure, and perseverance required in critical care nursing translate directly to success in judo.
